Download & Reinstall  Realtek HD Audio Manager

In the previous step, you learn to uninstall the driver. Now to make your audio device working have to install Realtek HD Audio Driver (v2.81) the latest version available on the website. To download the High Definition Audio Codecs (Software) visit their official website www.realtek.com or you can visit a site like Filehippo. Step 1: Download the Realtek HD Audio Driver software package on your computer from here.

Step2: Now Right-click on the downloaded Driver setup and click on Run as administrator.

How to Fix If Realtek HD Audio Manager Missing from Windows 10 Taskbar.

If Realtek HD Audio Manager  App icon Doesn’t Appear or missing from Windows 10 Taskbar. Then you can find it from windows File Explore. Follow the steps given below to bring back the Audio icon in Taskbar.

Step 1: Open File Explorer and navigate to following path “C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA”. Or open RUN by pressing Windows + R keys and paste the path and hit Enter key. It will take you the place where the Realtek HD Audio Manager app is located.


Step 2: Now find RAVCpl64 (Realtek HD Audio Manager App). Right-click on it and then click on Send to and then click on Desktop (create shortcut). That creates a shortcut for the Realtek HD Audio Manager on your desktop.


Step 3: Now Go to the desktop and Right Click on the RAVCpl64 icon and click on Pin to taskbar option.


Step 4: You can launch the Realtek HD Audio Manager. It should be shown in your Windows Taskbar’s System Tray as well as in Notifications.

What if Realtek audio manager is missing from Control Panel?

If not able to find the Realtek HD audio manager option in Control Panel, Then you can find it in File Explorer by following these steps.
Step 1:Open File Explorer and navigate the following path C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA or Navigate the location using Run by pressing Windows + R key and paste the command C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA. And hit enter.


Step 2: Now Looking for RtkNGUI64.exe file in File Explorer and open it by double click.


Step 3: It should be an open Realtek audio manager.
