The reason is Jetpack WordPress plugin, yes we all knew that JetPack is the one of the best All in One WordPress plugin which has lots of different types of modules in it. Now the question is which modules causing this 500 Internal Server Error, this error is caused by the Publicize Module of JetPack plugin. This module is automatically shared all blog posts on connected social networking sites but when during sharing the post it uses the lots of memory of our server then due to overusing memory our site will going crash and it showing 500 Internal Server error.

How To Fix 500 Internal Server Error In WordPress:

We are going to sharing some methods which will help your to fix this error in WordPress blog easily. lets read each and every step carefully.

Method#1: Try To Disable All Plugins And Then Activate One by One.

  • First of all, remove all unnecessary plugins from your WordPress blog.
  • After removing all unnecessary plugins, now open your cpanel and go to your public_html folder from your File Manager
  • Now go to wp-content there you’ll see a folder called plugins.
  • Now rename the folder plugins to plugins.off
  • Now your all plugins are Inactive or disabled.
  • Go to your WordPress Dashboard>>Plugins then activate each plugin(but not unnecessary) one by one then open your blog after activating one plugin, then second, then third and so on.
  • Repeat this process until your all plugins is activated. Then you’ll know that which plugins causing this 500 Internal Server Error.
  • Remove that plugin which causing this error.
  • You’re done.

Method#2: Try to deactivate the JetPack Publicize Module Plugin

JetPack is also the major plugin which causing this error, We know that you can use this plugin for it Publicize Module for automatically Social sharing, use another plugin like Social Auto Poster instead of JetPack Publicize.

Method#3: Try to Increase Your Server’s RAM

This is the last method, contact your server or hosting provider and increase your hardware specification like RAM and processors, if More the RAM faster will be your WordPress blog. if above 2 methods not working for your then try to increase your RAM.
